The characteristics of Branch office is as below.

• A Branch Office is a foreign company.
• Its accounting is in accordance with the parent company overseas.
• Only earnings generated in Korea is taxable.

1. The document needed are normally as below, but they can be changed according to the specific case.

• The passport or ID card of the president of the branch office
• Court registration or business license of head quarter

       which should include the name, the date of establishment, the name of CEO, 
       the address, the kinds of business and the share capital of the head quarter.

• Two Power of Attorney
• Director’s resolution of head quarter

       which should include the name, address and the date of birth of the president 
       of the branch office,   the declaration for establishing Korean branch office,
       the address of Korean branch office

2. The procedure for setting up a Branch office
